Wedgwood, Mervin Charles ( Merv )

After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with heavy hearts that the Wedgwood family would like to announce the passing of Mervin Charles Wedgwood on Monday 24 September 2012 at the age of 67 at the Blind River District Health Centre. Beloved husband of Hélène Wedgwood (Blind River). Mervin will be fondly remembered by son Andrew (Katy) of Ottawa, daughter Michelle of Ottawa, brother Dale (Sandra) of Iron Bridge, sister Maxine ( late Terry) of Echo Bay, sister Carol (late Danny) of Waterloo, brother-in-law Pierre (Ginette) of Trois Rivières, and brother-in-law André (Monique) of Ste-Foy. Mervin is also survived by granddaughter Kaleigh (Ottawa) and Andrew (Blind River). The family is ever-grateful for the outstanding care provided by the Blind River District Health Care Centre. At the request of the family a cremation has taken place and a celebration of Mervin’s life for friends and family will be held on Saturday 29 September at the Blind River Marina Upper Lounge, 1 to 4 pm. Guests are encouraged to dress comfortably and bring a story, a joke, a photo, or a memory to share as that is what Mervin would have wanted.
