Condolence From: Kevin Woodside
Condolence: Thinking of Sue (and her brothers) at this sad time. My best memory of Mr. Hubbert has to be from grade 8, when he showed me I still had a lot of basketball to learn to stop him from dunking over me!

Condolence: Sue and boys.... so sad to hear about your dad. It is always difficult when a parent passes. It leaves a space in your heart that can never be filled. My thoughts are with you. Your dad was a very kind and thoughtful person. He was always very sweet to me and had a great sense of humour. He will not only missed by you, but everyone's lives he touched.

Condolence From: Mary Alice Marchand, President, Kiwanis Club of Chatham-Kent
Condolence: To the family of Dave Hubbert:
As President of the Kiwanis Club of Chatham-Kent, I extend condolences to all of Dave's family on behalf of our 57 club members. We were honoured that he chose to join our club in October 2015 but are saddened that he has left us so soon. His quiet but interested presence at our club meetings was always appreciated. While ill health and treatments kept him from many meetings, we were so pleased to see him at almost every meeting this past fall. Thus we were so saddened to learn of his passing at this time. Our club supports the Sleeping Children Around the World organization that provides bed kits to children in developing countries. Two bed kits will be donated in memory of Dave. In about 6 months a photo of the children who receive these bed kits will be sent to Sue whose contact information has been obtained. We will miss Dave. He was a fine Kiwanian.

Condolence: I am deeply sad to hear of my uncle Dave's passing. He was the same age difference from myself as he was to my father, so it was Always like seeing a big brother to me. Most of my best memories come from very early when I always went to my Grandparents house at 50 Albion Steet in Brantford , during that time he still lived at home in the upstairs loft.He always invited me up to the loft to hang out, it was very exciting time for me to be around him he had a very big impact on my life during this time.
Also it was at this time that he met Gloria and the two of them always brought me something home for me from any date they had gone on making me feel special. He also would bring me to his place in university just to hang out as well, he was certainly a bit a hero to me and as an adult any time I knew I would be seeing him I would get excited about it ,he was a great guy and he will be missed by many.My deepest sympathies go to his family. RIP Uncle Dave

Dave was on our Program Team, planning the January & February meetings & I have appreciated his input & participation. We have been concerned about his failing health but did appreciate having him at all the meetings he could attend. In the near future you will be hearing from our President, Mary Alice Marchand concerning a memorial donation in his name. Wishing all of you a special peace in your hearts at this time, Dick Roe.
