February 28th, 1930 – April 6th, 2017

Frank passed away peacefully with his Best Friend and Son, Donald by his side. Beloved husband of 64 years to Marian Belanger (Nee Albert). Loving Pé to Suzanne Gionette(Wayne), Frank Jr. Belanger (Lisa), Gloria Dupuis(Al), Dale Belanger, Donald Belanger, Mark Belanger(Heather) and Rheal Belanger. Special Pépé to Kelly Geoffroy(Richard), Melanie Gionette(Jason), Tyler Belanger, Justin Belanger, Emma Belanger(Kevin), Julien Belanger, Kieffer Belanger(Roxanne), Stella & Julia Belanger, Jacob Belanger & Samuel Belanger. Great Grandfather and Caring Pépé to Brandon Geoffroy, Carlie Geoffroy, Allison Gionette, Alex St. Jean & Kayden Belanger. Son to the late Albert & Irene Belanger of Espanola. Brother to the late Edna(Ralph), Late Leo(Dorothy), Late Romeo(Olga), Late Lorraine(Roger), Robert (Sylvia), Maurice and Late Yvonne(Orval). He was a great uncle to so many nieces & nephews, many who live in town and visit regularly. Frank will be fondly remembered for his calm disposition, his love of Port & his wonderful whistling. This was guaranteed to be heard while he created a new project in his wood working shop, gardening in his beautiful backyard, whipping up a batch of baked beans or simply taking a relaxing stroll through town. Pépé, Mimi & Don(the three Musketeers) never missed the opportunity to cheer on their favorite team, the Toronto Blue Jays, take a trip to the Casino or invite family over for a UFC Fight Night. In 87 years he created lasting memories with so many people, he will be deeply missed. Friends may call at the Menard Funeral Home, Blind River on Monday April 10, 2017 from 10am until time of service at the funeral home at 12noon. A reception will follow at the Blind River Curling Club.
