Condolences to the family of Bernard Skusky. My mother Agnes Malcolm first met Bernie at Pathways. Where he taught her to play the card game What-to-Do. She enjoyed many Tuesday afternoon card games with Bernie and the other residents. Then they met again at the Davey Home. They often visited and chatted there. They both loved the Bingo on Friday afternoon there. Bernie attended my mothers 90th birthday party at the Davey Home. We used to call him "her boyfriend". My mother passed away in Oct 2016. I still sometimes would go to the Davey Home and always visited with him when I went. If he was playing Bingo I would ask him if he was winning. He used to spend a lot of time outside if it was nice also. We always spent a few minutes of conversation. He was a Nice, Kind, Gentle man, and I am so glad that my mother had him as a friend.
