With a sad heart, but a lifetime of many happy memories we announce the passing of “Bettie” Brown on Sunday, October 8th in the morning. She passed peacefully to be welcomed by her dear nephew Allan and several cherished relatives and friends, and loved pets; her favourite cat “Blackie”. Bettie was loved by so many others here as well, especially her devoted and trusted friend Ruth, and her Godson Johannes of whom she was extremely proud. Her hard work on all the committees and charities she supported will be missed. She was known for her love and caring of everyone at the Manor. Bettie’s wishes were to rest peacefully; there will be no service. Kindness to everyone is a great way to honour her legacy.
