Vickie Lynn Whitfield (North)
Vickie Lynn Whitfield
It is with broken hearts we announce that Vickie Lynn Whitfield became an angel on January 10, 2018, at home and surrounded by her family.
Beloved wife and soul mate of Brian for 44 years. Cherished mother and best friend of Adam, Tabitha (Jason Clarke) and Michael Hurley. Special Gramma to “her boys” Easton and Couper Whitfield-Hurley. Deeply missed by her forever loyal sidekick Buddy. Finally reunited with her loving parents William Ralph and Norma North. Loved daughter in law of Irwin and Lillace Whitfield. Sister of Bonnie (Tim) Farrell and Bill (Charleen) North. Big sister to her late baby brother Joseph North. Sister in law of Robert Stanley (Deby), Ralph (Earline), Bruce (Sharon), Douglas (Cindy), Roger (Lorna), Gayle (John) Wagner, Steven (Heather), Terry (Heather), Teresa (Sean) Seabrook and the late Lyle Whitfield. Special cousin/sister of Gail Brown and Ted McEwen. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Church of Christ, 8 Albert Street, Thessalon, Ontario on Monday, January 15th, 2018 starting at 6:30pm. Memorial contributions to ARCH or the Canadian Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
Special thank you to the doctors and nurses in the ER and 3rd floor C at the SAH for their exceptional care and compassion shown to Vickie and her family.
