Rainville, Joseph Florent ( Fian )
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Tuesday February 11, 2014 at the age of 92. Fian was born on January 20, 1922, the son of The Late David and Laura Rainville. Beloved husband of Dorilla ( nee Bertrand ) for 63 years. Beloved father of Gerard ( Andrea ), Rick ( Linda ), Dave ( Rosanna ), Diane ( late Dave Armstrong ), Sue and Rachel ( Greg Vigneault ). Beloved Pépère of Tabatha ( André ), Ryan ( Caitlin ), Steven, Stacey ( Greg ), Jeff ( Amanda ), Darren and Allison. Grand Pépère of nine. Survived by one sister Marie-Paule Savard ( Toots ). Predeceased by 7 brothers and sisters Nadège, Armand, Paul, Rita, George, Lucille and Joe. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends many call at the Menard Funeral Home, Blind River on Thursday February 13, 2014 from 7 to 9pm. Funeral service at Paroisse Ste. Famille, Blind River on Friday February 14, 2014 at 11 o’clock. Spring interment in Hillside Cemetery. Donations to Golden Birches Terrace or the Blind River District Health Centre Foundation gratefully accepted.
