Condolence: To the Wheeler family. So sorry to hear of your loved ones sudden passing. You don't know me but I was one of dans co-workers / friend at Diavik. Dan was a wonderful person, very quiet but always with that smile. On our last shift Monday night shift July 21 we were finishing up our last shift and dan was working in our welding bay. We talked him into coming into our lunch room for a coffee befor end of shift and as always a few laughs were had. Please forgive me for having so much to say but I feel like sharing our last memory of Dan. When Dan was having his coffie we ask him how come every so often out clock goes ahead an hour? He then smiled and gave the names of his co-workers (electricians) that were moving the time ahead as a prank. So now we know because of Dan. :-) go rest hight on that mountain my buddy. Gone but never forgotten.
