Howard, Hilda Louise
Peacefully at Algoma Manor, Thessalon on Wednesday May 21, 2014. Hilda Howard formerly of Iron Bridge in her 81st year, wife of the late George Howard. Loving mother of George ( Gail ), Calvin ( Louise ), Linda Berry ( Don ), Leita St. Germain ( Joe ), James ( Rosetta ), Shirley Thibodeau ( Ricky and the late Floyd ), Lorraine Ingram ( John ), Dennis ( Connie ), Shelly, Beverley ( Nestor ), Gary, Karen McRae ( Orville ), Douglas, Lori Charron ( Dan ), Angela and Valerie ( Ed ) and Step-mother to Raymond ( Irene ), Evelyn ( late Albert ), Ronnie and Susan McGovern ( late Max ). Special grandmother to 34 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Ella Doty, Bernard Smith, Bill Smith, John Smith, Mary Yarkie, Mae Smith, Ivy King, Laura Brown and the late Maude Swinston, Rose Bowers and Gordon Smith. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at the Menard Funeral Home, Blind River on Monday May 26, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm and at the Iron Bridge Hall on Tuesday May 27, 2014 from 10am until time of service at 11 o’clock. Interment at Spruce Grove Cemetery, Iron Bridge. Donations to the Algoma Manor Charitable Foundation or the charity of your choice gratefully accepted.
