Rest in Peace dear Hilda, thank you for being a good, kind neighbour, and a friend to my Mom. I remember when you and she would take walks every day together. I have fond memories of teaching many of your children, and going to school with some of the older ones. You and George raised a great family! Our prayers are with you!

My prayers and sympathies go out to each of you at this sad time. Hilda was always kind to me growing up. Whenever I met her after leaving Iron Bridge we would have a conversation about the "good old days" Hilda made big meals all her life and always had room for one more at the table. I think back to all the food she would prepare and wonder how she did it. I still can see those big pots of potatoes. Oh my gosh, and the laundry she did for you all. I am sure that it was her love for you all that got her through many of those days, and many of the days after you left home. She must have suffered the "empty nest syndrome" to go from a full house to being along. Remember the good times with her, she is in a better place now. Who knows, they may even have a bingo hall in heaven where she can go and meet past bingo friends.
